The word sushi actually translates to “sour-tasting,” which may or may not have the most appealing ring to it. Of course, saying that it’s raw fish isn’t all that appealing either. Regardless, people sure seem to like it. Maybe it’s the bite-sized, gift-wrapped presentation, or the wasabi and pickled ginger entourage. Whatever the reason, it sure is tasty.
