Archeologists have theorized that humans were actually singing long before they were speaking, probably to mimic other species that they were intent on catching. Such is our survival song. It makes perfect sense too. Whales sing, after all, as do birds and gibbons and sea lions. Pretty much everything sings. It’s like there’s a universal melody or something. Join in, even if it’s only in the shower.
