Filmmaking

Charlie Chaplin once said, “All I need to make a comedy is a park, a policeman and a pretty girl.” While it may sound like just another funny comment on the surface, it’s actually a rather concise tutorial on the elements required to make any good film - a setting, an antagonist, and an object of desire. Of course, you also need a hero, but we’ll assume that Charlie was planning to cast himself in that role.
