Originating is Southern China 2500 years ago, the typical dragon boat is powered by a crew of twenty paddlers. There's a drummer who pounds out a cadence for the paddlers to follow, and another guy in the back who tries to keep them all moving in a straight line. Talk about a team sport. With everybody in perfect unison it’s pretty amazing just how fast these boats can move. Not only a great way to meet people, it's a pretty incredible workout too.
