The Kilwinning Archers of Scotland wield, in addition to the required bow and arrow, a cute little bonnet topped with a bright red pom-pom. A bit silly, perhaps, but no one is laughing when one of these gents hits a bull’s eye from twenty yards out. Master the skill and you too might gain new respect from your peers regardless of how you dress. Cupid, after all, didn’t wear much of anything.
